The combo features a Shimano Tyrnos 50 2 speed is one of Shimano's most versatile game reels designed for both trolling lures and deep dropping reefs for tasty coral trout. These reels have been built with durabilty in mind to help you wind fish in season after season. To get you out fishing today the team have spooled the reel with quality 24kg mono line using our state-of-the-art line spooler.
The Backbone Elite rod has been redesigned by Shimano to handle the rough and tumble of the ocean and built to handle hard fighting fish like mahi mahi, marlin, spanish mackerel and more.

Rod - Shimano 23 Backbone Elite Game Rod
The new generation backbone elite rods are totally redesigned and reegineered rod taper actions to meet the demands of offshore game fishing requirements. Built on a single-piece constructed rod blank, the Backbone Elite utilise Shimano’s latest TC4 material. The long foregrip EVA delivers a comfortable grip even with wet hands, and the guides, whether fixed or roller are from AFTCO. The Slick Butts are durable and makes it convenient to remove a loaded-up rod from the holder, while anodised aluminium reel seats and gimbals round out a very workmanlike package.
