[Spotting small baitfish in feeding frenzies]

The "Tobiee 90" was developed to target schools of small baitfish.

When baitfish such as sardines are small, predatory fish are often finicky, and they often won't bite unless many elements such as action, color, and casting distance are perfectly matched. The "Tobiee 90" was perfected by pursuing these elements down to the smallest detail.

The basic way to use it is skipping. After the lure hits the water, if you immediately hold the rod up and retrieve it fast, it will bite the bubbles on the water's surface, creating an action that resembles a small fish escaping. If there is no bite with this, it is also effective to add small twitches during the retrieve.

Also, when retrieved, it swims just below the water's surface with its tail swaying from side to side, and during tension falls, it shimmies and falls in small increments. These actions resemble a fish escaping from a school of fish, and are effective when fast actions are not getting a reaction.
